Carpet Beetle The larva of this beetle is what causes all the damage. Adults are found inside and out. They are known to infest animal hides, stored grains and cereals, dried meats, wasp nest and bird nest. |
Clothes Moth These moths usually shy away from light and look for dark areas. They occasionally fly but it is on the edge of lighted areas. They eat things such as clothing, carpets, rugs, upholstered fabrics, blankets, and lint or wool products. |
Cockroach There are many different types of roaches. Most roaches feed on filth or decaying matter. They are known to carry diseases and can contaminate food by transporting organisms that can cause diseases. |
Earwig (A.K.A. Pincher bugs) These are harmless creatures. They cannot survive long dry conditions. Earwigs are nocturnal and may be drawn to light. Outside they eat plants, algae, dead animals, and live animals. Indoors they will eat greasy or sweet foods. |
Flea This insect is a vector of diseases. A flea bites and feeds on the blood of humans and animals. You do not have to have pets in order to have your home infested by fleas. It is common for them to hitch a ride into your home by jumping onto your pant legs. Their bites may be irritating and itchy. |
Indian Meal Moth These pests are found in pantries and dry food storage areas. These moths infest and contaminate grain products. They infest homes and stores. They are often found hanging off the ceiling. |
Mouse A family of 6 mice can grow to a family of 50-60 mice in just 90 days. Mice carry and spread disease where they infest. They prefer darker areas that have an abundant amount of food nearby. Mice eat seeds, insects and foods with high proteins like dog and cat food. |
Rat They can be found in your attic, garage or yard. They like to chew and cause a large amount of damage to property. They like to chew in wires in attics and on parts inside of car blocks. Rats also carry many diseases.

Silverfish This insect has a lifetime of 2 to 8 years. Foods they prefer to eat are starches, glue, wallpaper, breakfast cereals, rolled oats, and dried meats.

Weevil These herbivorous beetles can be found in dry foods such as nuts and seeds, cereal, flour and pancake mix.
