Diamond Certified follows a rigorous 12-step process that is the most reliable in the industry. To obtain the most accurate rating and to ensure only actual customers are responding, we survey a large, random sample of REAL customers by phone. Diamond Certified surveys a company’s entire customer base to ensure that the results of our study, good or bad, accurately represent the company’s level of customer satisfaction. The Diamond Certified Company Reports include all responses for each Diamond Certified company.
In order to protect respondents’ privacy, they are identified by their first name and last initial. The name of a respondent if the response is overtly negative or their first name is easily identifiable due to its uniqueness (either due to its rare usage in American society or because the sample size is small). The purpose of this is to protect the anonymity of respondents while including their feedback for other consumers to review.
Diamond Certified companies must score Highest in Quality and Helpful Expertise® (90+ on a scale of 100) and pass all of our credential-based ratings. Only the Best Pass the Test™. Diamond Certified eliminates mediocre and poorly performing companies by requiring such a high score. There is continuous research to rate the companies to ensure they maintain their high performance.

Diamond Certified Performance Guarantee
A dispute may be sparked by an unmet expectation or a misunderstanding. After the parties have worked together using the contract and industry standards for guidance, many disagreements are resolved.
If you are having difficulty resolving a disagreement, please contact us at [email protected] or (800) 738-1138. You and the Diamond Certified® company will work with our mediator to reach an agreement that both parties can live with.
In the event that a mutually-agreeable solution is not reached due to the Diamond Certified company failing to fulfill contractual obligations, uphold industry standards, or participate in good faith, we will refund your purchase price up to $1,000.
To qualify for this guarantee, you must meet the following requirements:
- Have purchased the services of a company that was Diamond Certified when the transaction occurred
- Have attempted to resolve the issue directly with the company
- Contact us within 6 months of the qualified purchase
- Have no prior or concurrent complaints against the company
- Allow the company to correct the issue
